Château Moulin Haut Laroque 2017 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of black cherry, ripe red fruits associated with small touches of flowers / iris as well as a discreet toasted hint (in the background) and fine touches of racy minerality. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a very fine cremosity, freshness, a fine juiciness, a beautiful acidity, tension as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crushed blackberry and small notes blueberry, fleshy strawberry associated with small touches of racy minerality, touches of toasted oak, chocolate as well a discreet hint of vanilla and an imperceptible hint of hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are very fine. Good length and gourmande persistence.
