The nose is fresh and offers concentration, power as well as a finely tight grain and a fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe cassis, small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of blueberry, fine touches of toasted as well as fine hints of violet, ceylan tea/spices, nutmeg and a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, a beautiful minerality as well as juiciness, a certain tension, a small concentration, energy, a fine suavity and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry, cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed plum, strawberry as well as hints of tea, nutmeg, toasted, a discreet hint of chocolate and toasted hazelnut. Good length. Tannins are finely chewy.
