It reveals notes of crushed cassis, crushed blackberry and more slightly crushed wild strawberry associated with touches of spices, pepper as well as discreet touches of toasted and a subtle hint of sugared tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, juicy, well-balanced and offers a fine juicy frame, fat, tension, a fine aerial side as well as a very fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy strawberry and more slightly raspberry associated with subtle touches of juicy cassis, fine hints of liquorice, toasted oak as well as very discreet hints of racy minerality and tonka bean. Tannins are slightly firm. Good length.
