The nose is fruity and slightly tight. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of cherry/griotte, crunchy cassis and more slightly ripe/fresh red berries associated with touches of crunchy raspberry, discreet hints of gray pepper as well as a very discreet hint of cassis bud and liquorice stick. The palate is well-balanced and offers minerality, freshness, a fine tension as well as a fine mineral/juicy frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe/fresh cassis, fresh/ripe red berries and more slightly fresh/ripe raspberry associated with a hint of griotte, fine hints of sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of cassis bud and vanilla.
