Château Moulin de la Rose 2020, Saint-Julien

Château Moulin de la Rose 2020, Saint-Julien
On the nose, fruity and offers a little concentration as well as some small intensity and a nice fine grain. There are notes of wild blackberry, blackcurrant and more lightly of small wild berries associated with hints of ripe cherry, sichuan pepper and discreet spices. On the palate, fruity, balanced and offers a juicy/acidic frame, good definition, minerality, tight grain and a present tannic structure. The wine expresses pulpy/juicy black currant, boysenberry and lighter wild berry notes with hints of crushed raspberry, violet, light tobacco and fine tonka bean, caramelization and toasted hazelnut. Good length. The tannins are well conducted.
