The nose is fruity and offers a fine power/intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and blackberry associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, subtle touches of toasted, a hint of almond as well as a very discreet hint of violet and liquorice. The palate is juicy, fresh, well-balanced and offers dynamism, minerality, precision as well as a fine gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis and more slightly crushed raspberry/red berries associated with small touches of chocolate, caramelization, nut and very fine touches of coffee. Good length and persistence. There is a discreet hint of crushed nut on the persistence.
