The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a certain concentration, a slight richness as well as a fine airy side in its power. There are notes of bright blackcurrant, boysenberry and slight notes of pulpy purple plum associated with touches of graphite, varietal freshness, discreet hints of graphite as well as a subtle hint of salinity and almost sappy touch. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, creaminess in freshness, a fine sappy side as well as concentration on black fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, concentrated blackcurrant and slight notes of black plum associated with touches of graphite, black pepper, toasted/roasted as well as a subtle hint of caramelization. The tannins are supple. Good job on the bitters. Appetite and gourmandise.
