The nose is fine, elegant and offers deepness, power, a fine grain as as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and wild berries associated with small touches of liquorice, lily/flowers, liquorice as well as fine touches of Sichuan pepper, liquorice stick and very fine hints of coffee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine juiciness, a good definition, suavity, finesse, power as well as a beautiful fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cassis, crushe blackberry and more slightly raspberry associated with fine touches of small juicy/ripe red fruits, cocoa/dark chocolate as well as a very discreet/imperceptible hint of almond (in the background), flowers/violet (in the background). Tannins are well-built, fine and very slightly firm. There is a very discreet hint of cocoa bitterness, coffee and gray pepper on the finish. Good length.
