The nose is fruity and offers elegance, generosity and harmony. There are notes of crunchy blackberry, ripe wild berries and a hint of blueberry combined with hints of zan, blue berries and fine points of racy minerality, toastiness and a discreet touch of caramelisation. The palate is fruity and offers gourmandise, elegance, good balance, an acidic framework, roundness and a little fatness in finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/acidic blackcurrant, creamy blackberry and, more slightly, fleshy/crushed redcurrant combined with hints of pulpy/juicy cherry, Bourbon vanilla, chocolate, toastiness and a touch of toasted hazelnut. The tannins are tightly wound. Fine chewiness on the finish.
