The nose is a mixture of ripe/fresh red berries and spices/cloves/musk combined with a fine touch of pepper. The palate is fruity and reveals minerality, fine acidity, spice and a fine tightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh berries, bright blackcurrant and more lightly liquorice combined with hints of racy minerality, clove, spicy notes and a subtle hint of camphor (in the background) and varietal flavours.
