The nose is fruity and reveals purity, a fine crystalline quality and good definition. There are notes of bright/juicy black cherry, bright/juicy blackcurrant and more lightly blueberry with hints of bright blue berries, fine zan and a discreet hint of camphor and salinity. The palate is fruity and elegant, revealing gourmandize, definition, fruit purity, pulpiness and deliciousness. On the palate this wine expresses fleshy/juicy cherry, pulpy/juicy blackberry and slightly juicy strawberry notes combined with hints of blueberry, a fine touch of peony, fleshy berries as well as fine hints of liquorice, a discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla and an imperceptible almost sappy hint (in the background). Good length. A discreet hint of chocolate in the background. The tannins are sapid and mellow.
