The nose is fruity and offers power, intensity as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild raspberry and small notes of toasted associated with small touches of small blue fruits as well as subtle hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a juicy/acidulous frame, precision, suavity/sensuality, a fine grain as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy black cherry, fleshy/juicy blackberry and small notes of juicy/fleshy red berries associated with fine touches of chocolate, cardamom, a fine touch of flowers as well as a subtle varietal hint and a very discreet hint of toasted/toasted hazelnut. Good length.
