The nose is aromatic and offers power, intensity, a beautiful finesse of the grain and precision. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, wild raspberry associated with small touches of small crushed/dense red fruits, liquorice, hints of Sichuan pepper and sweet spices. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, a fine tension, fat, roundness as well as a small tension, a fine/finely tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed cassis, small notes of pulpy wild raspberry associated with touches of cornflower, lily, small notes of pulpy blue fruits as well as fine hints of zan, mild tobacco, a very discreet hint of caramelization (in the background) and a discreet hint of tonka bean.
