The nose is aromatic, relatively fine and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of coffee, cassis, blackberry, woody notes associated with slight notes of strawberry as well as hints of grilled oak, a discreet hint of spices and a subtle hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral frame, a slight acidity, fat as well as suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of redcurrant, black cherry associated with a hint of red berries as well as touches of toasted oak, licorice and a very discreet hint of caramelization. Tannins are very slightly firm as well as very slightly dry. Good length. There is slight hints of dark chocolate/coffee and a very discreet hint of saline minerality on the persistence.
