Château Mauvinon  2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Mauvinon  2018 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers intensity and a small flowery side. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, fleshy blackberry and small notes of flowers (violet, lilac, a very discreet hint of iris) associated with touches of fleshy/juicy raspberry as well as fine touches of juicy/fleshy small fruits and very fine hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, juiciness as well as an acidulous/juicy frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, fleshy/juicy Boysenberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with fine touches of liquorice, grilled bread as well as very fine hints of nutmeg/toasted. A hint of fresh almond/green almond on the persistance.
