The nose is fruity, elegant and offers power, a fine grain and a certain richness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of wild berries associated with touches of violet, Sichuan pepper, sweet spices and fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness as well as a fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of wild cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of small berries, camphor, liquorice/zan, nutmeg as well as hints of cardamom, cocoa and black pepper. Tannins are elegant and well-built.
