The nose offers a fine power and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, small fleshy black fruits, small notes of liquorice/zan, cardamom associated with touches of crushed cherry, crushed raspberry as well as hints of cocoa, toasted and discreet hints of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, blackberry, small notes of small black berries associated with touches of griotte/cherry, violet, a racy minerality as well as discreet hints of cardamom and mild tobacco leaf.
