The nose is aromatic and offers a slight richness. It reveals slight notes of fleshy/ripe strawberry and wild raspberry associated with discreet touches of wild black berries as well as a discreet woody hint and a very discreet hint of gray pepper. After aeration, there is a slight hint of violet. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, nicely mineral (racy minerality) and offers fat, a good freshness as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses slight notes of blueberry and fleshy strawberry associated with a discreet hint of raspberry as well as a hint of toasted oak/licorice. Tannins are fine and slightly chewy. Good length.
