The nose is elegant and offers a fine richness as well as a beautiful definition. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, ripe fleshy strawberry and more slightly ripe cassis associated with touches of tonka bean, toasted, discreet hints of Cuben pepper as well as a very discreet hint of flowers and racy minerality/gravels (in the background). The palate is fruity, beautifully elegant, well-balanced, juicy, racy and offers freshness, a beautiful definition, finesse, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a small aerial side, tension, a fine acidulous frame as well as a small straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and more slightly blackberry associated with small touches of black cherry, cornflower/violet, hints of graphite, cassis as well as discreet hints of tonka bean, tea and spices. Tannins are fine, elegant and finely straight. Good length and persistence. There is a hint of caramelization, chocolate and nut on the persistence.
