Château Margaux 2014 – 1er Grand Cru Classé – Margaux

The nose is elegant, deep, intense and aromatic. It reveals notes of black currant, blackberry, violet and slight notes of licorice associated with a hint of sweet spices and a slight toasted notes. The palate is suave, gourmand, fresh, dense, powerful, concentrated, beautifully complex and offers a nice acid frame. In the mouth it expresses notes of ripe black (blackberry, plum, cassis) associated with slight notes of cherry, strawberry, blueberry cream and a slight hint of licorice, oak and a touch of chocolate on the finish. Tannins are well done and elegant. Good length and persistence on the palate.
