The nose is fruity, fresh and reveals elegance, freshness and a discreet tightness. There are notes of pulpy/ripe wild blackcurrant, boysenberry and more lightly wild red berry fruit combined with fine zaniness, a subtle hint of violet, racy minerality and a discreet hint of sweet spice/fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness/minerality, good definition, gourmandize, delicacy, elegance, accuracy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, blueberry and, more slightly, blue berries, combined with hints of juicy/pulpy strawberry, as well as fine points of tonka bean, nutmeg, a discreet hint of vanilla and fresh tobacco. The tannins are racy, elegant and precise. Good length.
