The nose is fruity, slightly gourmand and offers a slight richness. It reveals notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and fresh/ripe strawberry associated with hints of blueberry, red berries, violet as well as a discreet hint of licorice and a subtle hint of caramelized oak. The palate is fresh, fine, fruity, sleek, racy (clay) and offers a slight unctuosity, a nice minerality, fat, gourmandise, deepness, roundness, a slight tension as well as a beautiful fresh frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe blackberry and small berries associated with hints of raspberry, fresh/ripe cherry as well as touches of toasted oak/chocolate and a very discreet hint of coffee on the finish.
