The nose is precise, concentrated and slightly tight. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, spices as well as a hint of blue fruits/cornflower, liquorice and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, tension, a good fullness, a beautiful fat, unctuosity, a fine power as well as a slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh boysenberry, fresh raspberry and crushed fresh redcurrant associated with a touch of juicy blueberry, liquorice, toasted as well as subtle hints of caramelization. Tannins are straight and slightly firm. Good length.
