Château Magnol 2014 – Haut-Médoc – Cru Bourgeois

The nose is relatively aromatic and offers a slight minerality. It reveals slight notes of blackberry, ripe red fruits and Gariguette strawberry associated with woody touch, small touch of mocha as well as a discreet hint of flowers and a very discreet hint of flint/iodine minerality. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, a bit silky and offers fat as well as a slight juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of raspberry associated with woody hints, hints of small wild berries as well as a discreet hint of plum, tobacco and pepper. Tannins are (very) slightly dry.
