Château Lusseau  2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château Lusseau  2016 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, fine and offers a slight concentration. It reveals notes of cassis and slight notes of ripe blueberry associated with discreet notes of ripe strawberry as well as hints of licorice stick and discreet hints of spices/flowers. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, racy (terroir) and offers a certain harmony, a nice minerality as well as freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh black berries and slight notes of fresh raspberry associated with slight touches of licorice, toasted touches as well as a discreet hint of flowers. Tannins are fine and polished. Good length and persistence. The persistance is quite gourmande. There is a slight caramelization on the persistence.
