The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers freshness as well as a very fine deepness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild cassis and small notes of small red fruits associated with fine hints of Cuben pepper, spices and very discreet hints of tonka bean/violet (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a mineral/acidulous frame, freshness, tension, suavity, a fine fat as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy/ripe blackberry and small notes of juicy/ripe raspberry associated with very fine hints of chocolate, toasted as well as a subtle hint of caramelization (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very discreet hint of bitterness on the finish.
