Château Livran 2020, Médoc

On the nose it is aromatic, fruity and offers a nice definition of the fruit / purity of the fruit. It reveals notes of bright blackcurrant, morello cherry and slightly violet associated with touches of jammy redcurrant as well as fine hints of fine hints of tobacco and a very discreet hint of pepper. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers a juicy / tangy structure, good definition, a certain gluttony, a fine tension and smoothness. This wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, juicy / fleshy blackberry and more slightly raspberry associated with touches of sour cherry as well as hints of toast, roasting and toasted almond. Good length. The tannins are well developed. A persistence on a hint of coffee and crushed almond.
