Château L’Insouciance 2019 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is fruity and offers a fine freshness and a fine concentration. It reveals notes of juicy cassis, juicy raspberry, small notes of cherry/griotte associated with touches of small red berries, lily, fine hints of crunchy/juicy violet plum as well as fine hints of tobacco leaf, cloves and black tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, finely tight and offers a beautiful acidulous frame, tension, power, a certain richness and a small deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, crunchy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of crunchy/juicy violet plum, hints of liquorice, vanilla, toasted, almond as well as very discreet hints of crushed almond (in the background). Tannins are finely tight.
