The nose is fresh, fruity, racy and offers a small richness/concentration as well as a beautiful fruit. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of cassis associated with touches of flowers (violet, peony) as well as fine touches of graphite, gray pepper and discreet hints of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight ad offers a good definition, juiciness, gourmandize, a mineral frame, tension as well as richness (full of finesse). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/crunchy raspberry, fresh/crunchy blackberry and small notes of crunchy/juicy cassis associated with touches of small crunchy red berries as well as fine hints of flowers and discreet hints of nutmeg. Tannins are slightly firm and discreetly dry. There are hints of dark chocolate on the persistence.
