The nose is elegant, precise, beautifully built, fresh, well-built and offers a beautiful fine grain as well as intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, quite ripe small black berries, small notes of camphore, crushed wild strawberry as well as hints of very ripe blueberry, grey pepper, Badiane, chocolate and a very discreet hint of hazelnut. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, gourmandize, an acidulous frame as well as a small suavity, tension, precision and a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis, small notes of blueberry associated with touches of iris, violet, plum as well as hints of crushed raspberry, toasted, dark chocolate/tonka bean, underwood, fine hints of truffle, hazelnut and a very discreet hint of black tea. Tannins are structuring and precise. Good length. A beautiful suave and gourmand persistence on ripe/acidulous fruits, hints of chocolate, caramelization and toasted.
