Château Lestage-Darquier 2017 – Moulis-en-Médoc

Château Lestage-Darquier 2017 – Moulis-en-Médoc

The nose is aromatic, racy and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of violet, blackberry and fine touches of cassis associated with fine touches of wild strawberry, very discreet hints of raspberry as well as a subtle hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, fat, tension as well as a slightly tight material and slightly unctuous. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, redcurrant jam and more slightly cherry, boyenberry associated with small touches of flowers, liquorice stick as well as a hint of Bourbon vanilla. Good length.
