Château Lestage 2017 – Listrac-Médoc

Château Lestage 2017 – Listrac-Médoc

The nose reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and wild small berries associated with fine touches of ripe/crushed redcurrant as well as hints of violet and subtle hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, full, fluid, slightly unctuous and offers a good definition, a material very slightly tight as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed raspberry, crushed cherry and more slightly crushed redcurrant associated with touches of blackberry, black cherry, liquorice stick as well as fine touches of toasted, sweet spices and and very discreet touches of toasted bread (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
