The nose is fruity, full and offers a slight richness. It reveals notes of chocolate, crushed blackberry and slight hints of plum, crushed strawberry associated with subtle hints of sweet spices, subtle toasted hints as well as a very discreet hint of cardamom. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, silky, gourmande, nicely built, nicely juicy and offers a slight freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy strawberry and small notes of crunchy cassis, fleshy/ripe cherry associated with hints of toasted oak, chocolate, sweet spices as well as subtle hints of cardamom. Tannins are fine and firm. Good length. There is a subtle grilled hint and coffee on the finish.
