Château Les Vieux Moulins – Les Hélices 2020, Blaye Côtes-de-Bordeaux (Organic) 

On the nose, it offers good definition, gourmandize, a certain juicy richness that is balanced, a delicate structure. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and subtle notes of fleshy wild strawberry associated with small touches of violet, lily, pulpy berries as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, cardamom and discrete notes of hazelnut. On the palate, fruity and offers juiciness, sweetness, freshness, gourmandize, some creaminess as well as a little pulpiness, fatness and good definition. The wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy blackcurrant and subtle notes of small pulpy red berries associated with tart blueberry, fresh lily/lilac as well as hints of tonka bean, chocolate, cardamom, black tea and discreet touches of vanilla. Good length. A little chewiness on the finish/persistence. The tannins are soft and creamy.
