Château Les Troix Croix 2017 – Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers concentration as well as a small power. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with touches of racy minerality (almost saline) as well as subtle hints of violet, vanilla/toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, freshness (in the background) as well as a fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh strawberry and small notes of juicy/fresh cassis associated with fine touches of violet/fresh flowers as well as very discreet hints of toasted/hazelnut (in the background) and chocolate (on the persistence).
