The nose is powerful and offers a fine intensity and a very fine freshness. It reveals notes of leather, wild blackberry and small notes of pepper associated with small touches of vanilla, red fruits as well as very discreet hints of spices/nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, gourmandize, fat, a very fine tension as well as a fruity/pulpy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy wild raspberry, fleshy wild red berries and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of liquorice, tonka bean/chocolate as well as subtle hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of vanilla. Tannins are structuring.
