The nose is racy and offers power. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, ripe wild raspberry, small notes of gariguette strawberry associated with touches of grey pepper, violet as well as fine hints of incense, fleshy violet plum and spices. The palate is fruity, gourmand and offers a fine acidulous frame, a beautiful suavity and a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, strawberry, small notes of cassis associated with small fine touches of violet, small crushed red berries, juicy/acidulous violet plum as well as very fine hints of zan, tea and tobacco leaf. Good length. Tannins are well-built.
