The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine intensity, a very fine concentration as well as a very fine power. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and crushed wild strawberry associated with hints of ripe small fruits, violet as well as a very discreet hint of lilac, Sichuan pepper, almond, nutmeg and toasted. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, mineral, precise, straight and offers a good definition, a fine acid frame, a small concentration as well as a very fine tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, black cherry and more slightly fleshy raspberry, redcurrant associated with small touches of tonka bean, flowers, tea as well as discreet touches of toasted oak/almond. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
