The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers richness as well as finesse. It reveals notes of Boysenberries, flowers (violet, cornflower), cassis and ripe strawberry associated with a touch of redcurrant jam, melted chocolate as well as a subtle / discreet hint of Lapsang Souchong tea, caramelization and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, suave, silky, slightly delicate and offers a nice mineral frame, a fine acidity, precision, a fine gourmandise and a fine straightness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and fine touches of ripe redcurrant combined with touches of raspberry, subtle touches of chocolate, caramelised oak, vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of oak (in the background) and fine touches of flowers.
