Château Les Grandes Murailles 2020 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé 

On the nose it is floral, fruity and offers acidulous/crunchy fruit. It reveals notes of crunchy strawberry, juicy/fresh raspberry, small notes of violet plum associated with touches of blackberry, violet as well as hint of tonka bean, tabaco, cherry tail and a very discreet hint nutmeg (in the background). On the palate it is fruity and offer freshness, gourmandize, a nice tension as well as a fine/racy grain, a nice racy minerality, finesse, a good guideline, and a little fat in freshness. The wine expresses notes of fresh/crunchy blackcurrant, boysenberry, small notes of plum, cheery associated with small touches of violet, fresh iris, cherry flower as well as hints of racy minerality, tonka bean, toasted, a discreet hint of coffee and cacao. Good length. The tannins are very discreetly marked.
