The nose is fruity, elegant, complex, precise and offers a fine juiciness, a fine minerality as well as a (very) slight power (in the background). It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis, wild strawberry and small notes of black cherry associated with small touches of fleshy raspberry as well as discreet hints of gray pepper, spices, flowers, camphor and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, (very) slightly tight, silky, elegant, precise, complex and offers minerality, a beautiful fineness of the grain, an aerial side, a fine depthness, suavity, a beautiful finesse as well as a good structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and small notes of red berries, strawberry associated with small touches of liquorice, toasted oak, hazelnut, a very discreet hint of caramelization, flowers / bulb as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee, camphor and salinity (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant, precise and structuring. The finish is finely powerful. Beautiful aromatic persistence. There is a very discreet hint of cocoa on the persistence.
