The nose is a bit closed. The wine needs to be decanted. There are notes of pulpy cherry, blackberry and, more slightly, violet, combined with fine touches of nutmeg and fresh flowers. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and fine tension. On the palate, juicy/pulpy blackberry, crushed blackcurrant and slightly fresh cherry notes are combined with hints of violet, liquorice and fine cherry blossom and subtle hints of sweet spice. Subtle, almost saline, hint of toastiness on the finish.
