Château Léoville Barton 2022 – Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé

Château Léoville Barton 2022 – Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé

Nice mineral nose, racy and which offers power, intensity with finesse, subtlety, depth, a nice little spicy side as well as a very nice finesse of the grain. Nice nose that opens and reveals itself little by little. We find notes of graphite/incense, pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of violet/small fresh flowers associated with touches of strawberry, small bright fruits as well as hints of licorice stick, juicy/pulp Bigarreau cherry as well as discreet hints of blond tobacco and nutmeg. The palate is nicely structured, balanced, silky and offers freshness, accuracy, tension, beautiful aromatic purity, energy, dynamism, beautiful definition, gourmandise, sapidity as well as a silky/shimmering side. What a superb material! On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, crushed redcurrants and small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of bright blackcurrant, hints of small blue fruits, vanilla as well as a subtle hint of graphite, tonka bean, minerality/fresh bass and delicate hints of vanilla pod. A fine chew on the finish/persistence. Nice acidity and sapidity on the finish/persistence. Congratulations !
