The nose is fruity, elegant, racy, gourmand and offers a fine grain. It reveals notes of cassis, red berries and small notes of red cherry associated with fine hints of liquorice, nutmeg, mild tobacco leaf as well as discreet hints of sweet spices. The mouth is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, racy and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition, fat, a beautiful grain, minerality, a freshness, a small tension, delicacy, a beautiful suavity as well as power. On the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, fleshy raspberry and small notes of black cherry associated with fine touches of tonka bean, sweet spices, mocha as well as very discreet hints of almond, liquorice and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant and very discreetly chewy. Good length.
