Château Leoville-Barton 2017- Saint-Julien

Château Leoville-Barton 2017- Saint-Julien

The nose is fruity, aromatic, elegant and offers power but full of finesse. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with fine touches of violet as well as fine hints of tea and a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, minerality, freshness, a small tension, a beautiful finesse of the grain, suavity, delicacy as well as a beautiful fat/suavity (full of finesse). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fresh/crunchy raspberry and small crunchy/fresh wild fruits associated with fine touches of flowers, liquorice as well as discreet hints of almond and sweet spices. Tannins are elegant and very discreetly chewy. Good length. A beautiful wine !
