The nose is fruity and offers a beautiful contained power as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of fleshy wild strawberries, fleshy blackberry and small notes of cherry associated with fine touches of violet/flowers, Bourbon vanilla, toasted as well as a subtle hint of chocolate (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a good definition, tension, a fine airy side, a beautiful finesse of the structure, an acidulous frame, freshness, a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful juicy / acidulous fruit as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh blackberry, juicy / fresh cassis and small notes of raspberry associated with very fine touches of cherry as well as slight toasted hints, chocolate, almond and a subtle hint of vanilla. Tannins are elegant and very slightly firm. Good length.
