The nose is fresh, elegant, fruity and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of juicy/fresh red berries associated with hints of mentholed liquorice as well as a fine hint of incense and Sichuan pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, very slightly tight and offers a beautiful juiciness, a beautiful definition, a beautiful juicy/acidulous frame and a very fine concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe black berries, ripe cassis and small notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of juicy/fresh raspberry, hints of cocoa/chocolate, toasted almond and sweet spices. Tannins are fine, finely tight, elegant and well-built. Good length and good persistence. A very fine sapidity on the persistence. (+10 years).
