Château L’Eden 2017 – Médoc

Château L’Eden 2017 – Médoc

The nose is aromatic and offers power, a small concentration as well as straightness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small touches of crushed strawberry, violet, ripe small black fruits/black berries associated with touches of Lapsanf Souchong tea as well as fine hints of liquorice, caramelization and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, marked by Carbernet Sauvignon, full and offers a good structure, a small fat, a mineral frame, a fine acidity as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, boysenberry and more slightly wild berries associated with small touches of ripe bell pepper, red fruits, liquorice/zan as well as a very discreet hint of vegetal (in the background). Tannins are slightly firm. Good persistence. There are hints of dark chocolate  on the persistence as well as an imperceptible hint of coffee and vanilla (in the background).
