Château Lécuyer 2018 – Pomerol

The nose is fruity, elegant, racy, very finely tight and offers a certain complexity and a fine straightness. It reveals notes of blackberry, small pulpy/juicy black berries and small notes of juicy blueberry associated with small touches of strawberry as well as fine hints of cornflower, liquorice and mild tobacco. The palate is fruity, juicy, elegant, gourmand, beautifully built and offers precision, suavity, a beautiful well-uilt fruit, a fine acidulous frame, a certain tension as well as a very fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, blackberry and small notes of small bright red berries associated with touches of crunchy blueberry, cornflower as well as a subtle hint of iris/bulb, chocolate, a very discreet hint of caramelization and roasted almond. Good length. Tannins offer a small firmness.
