The nose is aromatic and racy. It reveals notes of oak/cacao and slight notes of strawberry, blackberry associated with a discreet hint of coffee as well as a hint of racy minerality (graves) and caramelization. The palate is fruity, gourmand, round, well-balanced and offers a slight suavity, a beautiful freshness as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, cassis cream and hints of ripe/fresh raspberry associated with discreet hints of crushed cherry as well as hints of chocolate/caramelized oak. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and beautiful gourmand persistence on slight notes of chocolate, caramel and juicy fruits. There is a hint of minerality almost salin on the finish.
